Enjoy Ballroom and Swing dancing with us!

During the last few years, there has been an explosive growth in the interest of ballroom dancing throughout the United States.  All age groups and social levels are involved. USA Dance Mid-Michigan Chapter 2043 is part of a national non-profit, volunteer organization whose only purpose is to create affordable opportunities for ballroom dancing in the community. We will provide low cost beginner lessons, workshops and educate the general public regarding the physical, mental and social benefits of ballroom dancing.  Many new dancers are adopting this healthful and enjoyable recreational activity.  We hold monthly dances which are listed under “Our Dance Schedule” tab. 

Typically, a dance consists of a one hour lesson and 2-1/2 hours of social ballroom dance afterwards.  Some emphasis is placed on the evening’s lesson and there may be a dance mixer of some sort. Occasionally we will offer you a dance demonstration.

The Chapter will also provide public demonstrations at the local malls, retirement and nursing homes and other public places striving to educate and promote ballroom dancing to the public in the area.  We strive to be the leader and focal point for ballroom dance activities in the community.

The public is welcome at all our dances.   Membership in USA DANCE is available but not required.

USA DANCE is approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. As a charitable organization, we are authorized to solicit and receive donations from the public
